Hagan Homes Provides Tiffany Brien With £3.5k Sponsorship For The Great Rugby Cycle 2019

Hagan Homes, Northern Ireland’s largest homebuilder, is providing £3,500 of sponsorship for Tiffany Brien's cycle kit as she takes on The Great Rugby Cycle 2019 today (Monday 4th- 20th March 2019).

Covering 1,238 miles from John O’Groats to Land’s End, The Great Rugby Cycle is a charity cycling event that will raise funds for the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation. 

My Name’5 Doddie Foundation was launched in November 2017 to aid research into the causes of Motor Neurone Disease (MND) and investigate potential cures and to support those affected by the devastating disease.  

Tiffany and six other cyclists will be joined along the way by rugby legends, sports stars and celebrities from TV and film to raise awareness and funds for the Foundation.  

James Hagan, Founder and Chair of Hagan Homes, says:

"We are thrilled to be supporting Tiffany Brien in raising funds for and awareness of My Name’5 Doddie Foundation. Doddie Weir, the former Scotland, British and Irish Lions rugby player, revealed he was suffering from Motor Neurone Disease and from the outset he sought to help fellow sufferers and further research into this, as yet, incurable disease. 

"Hagan Homes has a long track record of supporting local rugby teams as we recognise the importance of the sport in building community infrastructure. Doddie's story struck a chord with us.  Motor Neurone Disease has a massive impact on individuals, their family and friends and we feel that this charity has the potential to make a difference."

Tiffany Brien added: “I am honoured to be part of the team travelling the length of the UK raising funds for such a worthy cause. It will be a challenge both physically and mentally but one we are all prepared to take on in the hope of raising lots of money for Doddie.
