It begins at home. In six months, you'll be settled - every box unpacked, your first dinner served. At Hagan, we don't just build new homes across Northern Ireland. We design them for modern living - built around how people live, and the futures they're building.
We believe better homes build a better future. Since 1988, we've been building modern, energy-efficient new homes across Northern Ireland - designed for real life and built to last.
Every Hagan home is carefully considered, from the location and layout to pricing and aftercare. We think about how people live, what makes life easier, and how a home can support that. As a local homebuilder, we work with trusted partners, invest in lasting quality, and stand by what we build.
Because for us, it's never just about bricks and mortar. It's about how it feels to live there - and the future you see unfolding beyond the front door. It begins at home.

Dear Henry
We just wanted to say how efficient Moss and his team have been in addressing our concerns. They have been so friendly courteous and kind that we wanted you to know.
What a pleasure it has been dealing with them throughout our move. Many thanks to you as well Henry for your prompt communication and help along the way.
Best Wishes
I bought my new home at Fairview Farm as I wanted to downsize and move into something that is easy to maintain in my later years, a new home really gives me that peace of mind.
I choose Fairview Farm as it is in a great location, my home is not overlooked and it was fantastic value for money.
We have just moved into our third Hagan Home.
As we are downsizing, we thought it was important to buy a new home with a great energy rating which would be easy to maintain. We love the excellent quality of finish in our Hagan Home, and the room sizes and layout makes it the perfect home.
We chose our new home as we both grow up in the area and wanted to stay close to our parents.
The house stood out because of its size and value with a great downstairs living space and garden. The turnkey specification of the house is fantastic and we are thrilled with the detail that went into everything.
As first time buyers, we were sure we wanted a new build home.
The location of the development was a great selling point, so close to Ballymena town yet it is a very private area. When we visited the Hagan Show Home the quality of finish was superior to other developments we had visited, it really stood out to us.
I love the layout and style of our new home.
It's very modern and the key window makes the space so welcoming. It's a lovely design both inside and out. Beautiful picked kitchen and bathroom choices: the modern grey and white colour scheme, really attracted us.
We chose our new home at Darby Road because it was so reasonably priced and in a great location. Our new home is very well designed and is practically laid out, with great specification and finish our home was brilliant value for money.
Thank you for the Curry's gift card!
We bought our new home at Darby Road, Carrickfergus during a Hagan Homes promotion and received a £500 Curry Gift Card on handover day.
It was a great incentive, received perfectly and we are very grateful for the gesture - a great start for the new home!
We recently bought our first home with Hagan.
We chose our house because of the price, we felt it was good value for money and the size was ideal for our first home.
There was great turn key options for our bathroom, kitchen, tiles and carpet- we have made it our own.
We love our new home.
We chose our house as it was very well designed, the room sizes are good with a great layout making, it a very comfortable and social home.
I think our house was great value for money due to its size, location, the specification and the finish. Being able to choose our package was a nice option to make the house our own.
We recently moved into our new home at Ballyveigh, Antrim. We chose our home because of the very high quality, standard of finish throughout and the convenient location.
This is a great family home for us and our daughter to enjoy.
The main thing that set Hagan Homes apart was the design and the value.
I loved the design of the building, the mix of stone and brick finish was really different and give the building a nicer look than other apartments we had seen.
We chose our apartment because unlike typical apartments it had its own front door access, driveway, and garden, you don't normally get all that in an apartment.
The price of the apartment was good for the area, its a handy commute to Belfast and we were able to buy with Co-Ownership. We know we got a lot for our money with Hagan Homes.
We love our new Hagan Home.
We chose our home with Hagan because of its great location, the lovely finish inside and out and of course, the price.
My favourite room, by far, is the kitchen. I love the layout and there was a great choice of finishes to chose from- it is the kitchen I've always wanted.
We love the development as a whole but we choose to buy a Hagan home because of their great reputation, their quality of finish and high specification they offer.
The whole process of buying from Hagan homes was very straightforward, and having the house ready one week before completion avoided any unforeseen issues, it really put our mind at rest.
Thank you Hagan.
We have only moved into our Hagan home a few months and we already love it. The rooms sizes are great and very practically designed. I love my kitchen/ dining room as it is bright and ideal for having family over for dinner.
Fab-u-lous new home! We've just moved into our new home at Frys Meadow. A lovely family home, we were delighted to have customised our kitchen and tiling. The artisan food box was a nice surprise, we enjoyed it on our first night, and my new Hagan tote bag will come with me on every trip to Tescos.
We love our Hagan Home. We liked the idea of a new turnkey home, that we could move straight into, we loved the choices we were given with our kitchen, carpets and tiles. The turnkey choices allowed us to personalise the finish to our own style, which was perfect for us.
Hagan homes gave us a great service when we were buying our first home at Darby Road. Being first time buyers they guided us through the whole process and helped us on making our choices. The team were really friendly and helpful, even when we asked what seemed like silly questions.
A huge thank you to everyone at Hagan Homes. Buying my first home should have been a daunting experience but you put myself and my partner as ease, making the whole process stress free. We are so glad our first home is a Hagan home, love it.
Thanks Hagan. We bought our home at Ballyveigh and the service was super. The questions we had were answered really quickly and the Hagan Team could not do enough for us.
I just wanted to thank everyone at Hagan Homes for all your help moving into our new home. You provided such an excellent and professional service which made the whole process stress free.
I would like to thank Henry and the Hagan Homes team for making the process of buying a house for the first time stress free and straight forward. A high quality service was provided from beginning to end. The welcome bottle of Prosecco was a lovely and appreciated gesture!
I like how spacious rooms are with furniture in them. I like the bay window and how well the kitchen and bathrooms were fitted. Beautiful design and finish!

Hagan Homes has provided funding for Women's Aid ABCLN Reconnect project supporting women affected by domestic abuse to rebuild their lives and secure a sustainable future for themselves and their children.
Hagan Homes donated £30,000 to The Welcome Organisation for the purchase of a new Street Outreach Vehicle. The vehicle has a real and positive impact on the charity's work and in turn, on the lives of some of the most vulnerable homeless people in Belfast. The support of Hagan Homes also ensures that the service is able to run as efficiently and effectively as possible for the foreseeable future. The Outreach Vehicle provides potentially life-saving support on the streets of Belfast 20 hours a day, 7am to 3am, 365 days a year.
The Outreach service works in tandem with the charity's other services including its Drop-In Centre, Crisis Accommodation for Women, Floating Support service and Welcome Home furniture project — helping people "from street to home".
A further £27,000 was donated to employ a Trauma Informed Support Counsellor for the organisation's women's services at 32 hours per week costing a total of £22,99.65, plus a counsellor for four hours per week at £3,710.20.
The Counsellor provides support to women using Catherine House - Welcome's new supported accommodation for women. Catherine House provides 24 hour supported living for ten women experiencing homelessness who are ready to take the next steps to live independently. Catherine House is more than just a roof over their heads - it has a therapeutic ethos were trauma informed support is interwoven into daily lives.
The Welcome Organisation sought permission from the family of Catherine Kenny, a vulnerable woman who died in Belfast in 2016, to name the facility in her memory.
Hagan Homes pledged £5,000 to Strabane Foodbank, boosting its drive to support the elderly and underprivileged in the area.
This donation allowed the organisation to expand its offering into fresh food including meat, poultry, vegetables and hygiene products.
The donation came shortly after statistics revealed the Strabane area distributed one of the largest numbers of food parcels in the UK during 2019 and 2020.
Hagan Homes has committed to supporting a number of IEF's marketing campaigns to help Northern Ireland become a place that teaches kids from all communities together.
It will go towards showcasing projects like 'Integrate My School' and a number of its fundraising events that will support the launch and redevelopment of integrated schools, colleges and more recently, nurseries across Northern Ireland.
To date we have donated over £1 million towards the IEF fund.
Hagan Homes has partnered with SOS NI by offering £30,000 to help grow the organisation's volunteer training programme.
These funds also contributed to the purchase of new uniforms for 200 volunteers, helped host two volunteer recognition events and assisted with the running costs of the charity's Welfare Service. The team at Hagan Homes will also become volunteers for the charity.
The financial boost from Hagan Homes will ensure that SOS NI continues to deliver its charitable support services on the streets. It's a service that helps alleviate pressure on other emergency services in NI.
With a vision of "Every Person Stronger", Start360 now supports 20,000 people each year to change their lives for the better through its innovative range of health, justice, and employability services. The charity is also the largest provider of addiction and mental health support across all three prisons in Northern Ireland.
Hagan Homes donated £75,000 to Start360 allowing the charity to employ its first full-time Volunteer Co-Ordinator. This vital role enables the charity to support young people with experience of the criminal justice system, mental health issues, or substance misuse, to find increased stability in their lives through new volunteering opportunities.
Hagan Homes chose to donate to Start360 after Founder James Hagan heard from one of the charity's youth workers how its distinctive services had helped her to turn her life around when she was younger, and how the volunteering opportunities she was provided with gave her a foothold in establishing her career in Youth Work. Providing Start360 with the ability to run this life-changing service is a testament to Hagan Homes' objective of reaching out to causes that are often overlooked but play such an impactful role in society.
Hagan Homes made a contribution of £75,000 to NOW Group, to support its provision of essential services for individuals with learning difficulties and autism. This money will go towards the organisation's strong focus on supporting employment, training, and volunteering opportunities, as well as offering specialised assistance for new and expectant parents with learning difficulties or autism.
It will empower these individuals to realise their full potential and lead fulfilling lives.
Hagan Homes was delighted to recently support Seahorses Mini Rugby at Instonians Rugby Club by sponsoring the team's tour shirts for a recent rugby trip to Holland.
The company believes that teams like Seahorses Mini Rugby teach young people how to work together to achieve a shared objective. It also helps promote discipline and teaches invaluable life lessons.
Hagan Homes has pledged £264,00 over an eight-year period to the Northern Ireland Hospice's palliative care nursing team in Ballyclare. The donation supports the invaluable post of a much needed Community Palliative Care Nurse Specialist and Loughside team member. This team specifically looks after the needs of patients living with life limiting illness within Ballyclare and the surrounding areas, including Ballynure, Burnside, Doagh and out to Templepatrick.
The funding was made in memory of beloved Hagan family friend, Daphne Evans.
A once fit and healthy Dave Hollinger undertook a host of sports, living his life to the full but the professional mountaineer's life changed following a skiing accident in Scotland after which he spent a year trying to escape the grips of paralysation.
Moved by the family man's ordeal Hagan Homes donated £25,000 to a charity drive set up by Dave's family to support him, his wife and two young boys during the journey including therapy and other costs.
The Northern Ireland Children to Lapland and Days to Remember Trust which gives children with terminal illnesses and life-limiting conditions the opportunity to experience the wonder of Lapland has benefitted from multiple donations from Hagan Homes in recent years.
This includes £30,000 and £40,000 donations which have helped transport more and more children to the snowy hills of Finland where they experience the magic that is Lapland. The project also funds the transport of a medical team who are there to help ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children in attendance.
The Keys to Life Programme provides men experiencing homelessness with skills needed to live comfortably and independently.
It does this through building social skills, confidence, life skills and community engagement which manifests a resilience that prevents young men from circulating within emergency accommodation facilities.
Hagan Homes has pledged a donation of £27,000 to the charity, which will be used to fund a project worker for the Harmoni Keys to Life Project for a period of one year.
A charity that supports an area of Belfast where Hagan Homes has a presence, The Greater Village Regeneration Trust benefitted from a £5700 donation from Hagan Homes. It allowed the charity to deliver a week-long Football Blitz programme for 30 local young people during the summer. Hagan Homes has also committed to donating a significant amount towards a new school playground in the local area which will help reawaken a once thriving neighbourhood.
The donations will also help the Greater Village Regeneration Trust deliver programmes to improve the quality of life for local residents by building community cohesion, addressing housing issues, educational under-achievement, unemployment, health and well-being concerns and by increasing cultural understanding.
Hagan Homes supported Jordanstown native, Ellie's Commonwealth Games 2022 bid by sponsoring her journey there.

Hagan Homes donated £1,000 to the Glentoran 2010 Colts to support the purchase of a brand new kit and training day equipment as well as team building events.
The new green and red Nike kit proudly brandishes the Hagan Homes' logo to allow the team to look as good as their player stats. The team coach described the donation as a “vital part of allowing grassroots football teams to function.
Hagan Homes has pledged £225,000 to bring country singer Dolly Parton's Imagination Library scheme to Belfast and deliver 70,000 free books to 2,000 children here over the next three years.
The Imagination Library, which was set up by the star in the UK in 2007, sees thousands of children from birth to five years of age around the UK receive a free age-appropriate book in the post every month to support the development of early language and literacy skills, and inspire a lifelong love of reading.
The Dollywood Foundation provides the infrastructure enabling the programme, but it is made accessible to children in different locations through partnerships with what the charity calls 'local champions'.
In Belfast, Hagan Homes has taken on that role in what initially began as a pilot scheme, followed by a roll-out in partnership with nine Sure Start centres across all areas of Belfast.
In recent years Hagan Homes has donated £30,000 to Cinemagic International Film and Television Festival for Young People. The charity has a strong worldwide reputation for children and youth programming, delivering educational and outreach actives as well as cross-community projects for children from marginalised communities.
Cinemagic and Hagan Homes also joined forces to apply for Arts and Business Investment Programme funding to further develop the partnership. This was the first Arts and Business Investment Programme between Cinemagic and Hagan Homes and involved the delivery of two short films in two of Hagan Homes outstanding show homes in Belfast and Antrim.
The three-day film training programme offered 24 young people the opportunity to work with industry professionals to learn more about the process of film making whist also gaining skills in time keeping, budgets, leadership, confidence and communication skills.
Hagan Homes has supported this much-loved artisan market in the quaint town of Comber, where it celebrated its fifth anniversary recently. To coincide with celebrations Hagan Homes announced a further two-year sponsorship.
Run by the Comber Regeneration and Community Partnership and a group of volunteers, this event creates a social feature for the town and incoming visitors while supporting local producers. Hagan Homes' sponsorship will also assist in the growth of the event over the next two years and draw more visitors to the town.
During the coronavirus pandemic Hagan Homes joined forces with Cash for Kids by donating £40,000 to support 1142 children who were considered the most vulnerable during the crisis.
Hagan Homes set up a PR initiative to call on other businesses to lend their support to the newly formed Emergency Appeal to fund basic family essentials amounting to £35 per child during the Covid-19 outbreak.
Hagan Homes recently supported the Children's Cancer Unit Charity (CCUC) by sponsoring the CCUC Stormont Mile which allows participants to run or walk the iconic Prince of Wales Avenue in the shadow of Parliament Buildings to help them raise vital funds for families living with childhood cancer in Northern Ireland.
This unique running event is the only event of its kind where participants complete just one mile downhill against competitors of the same level and speed. This means runners of all abilities - both competitive or those who just like a quick exercise - can take part in different races according to their own ability.
Hagan Homes donated £5000 to Carrickfergus Food Bank towards its purchase of not only food items, but toiletries and household cleaning products.
The food bank is run by the charity team JVC Community Trust and is operated by 16 regular volunteers and one paid team member.
During the pandemic the food bank supported a higher demand in the area including its own growing costs. These pressures were partly alleviated by Hagan Homes' donation.
The negative impact of the Northern Ireland Troubles is still evident today in some areas of the region where division between Catholic and Protestant communities remains but the Bridging the Divide initiative is working towards narrowing and indeed bridging that gap specifically in its confines north of the city.
It does this by bringing communities together from both sides through sport and social events as well as food-bank, clothing and Christmas appeals. The initiative is funded by 174 Trust, a non-denominational Christian community development organisation in North Belfast, actively working to produce a peaceful society.
Hagan Homes has pledged to support the organisation's efforts over the next three years.
BCM was created as a Christian response to social problems in inner Belfast. Today it works throughout NI to help people through a diverse professional social care programme and community projects.
Hagan Homes has committed to donate over £80,000 to the charity to support one full time support worker for three years. This salary helps to provide bespoke one-to-one support. It also allows BCM to develop an aftercare programme, where staff will be able to support young people for a specified period of time after they move on from the project. This will help them to settle in their new accommodation, feel supported and ultimately help break the cycle of homelessness.
Hagan Homes has donated £14,000 to Ballyclare Ladies Hockey Club, which has been running for three decades.
The club is a community go-to for young athletes who can join in their early childhood years and participate in the sport right up to adulthood. Hagan Homes has been a long-term sponsor of the club, which is based in the same town as its head office. Over the years it has contributed funds to support operations there.
Hagan Homes donated £20,000 to Ballyclare Rugby Football Club to make its clubhouse more accessible to all generations.
That donation contributed towards a lift facility within the clubhouse, where founder and Chair of Hagan Homes, James Hagan, has been a member for many years.
The donation was made during the pandemic at a time when all local sports clubs halted play and events.
Hagan Homes and Age NI's partnership came about during the coronavirus crisis when the charity was struggling to operate with a financial deficit of tens of thousands of pounds.
James Hagan donated £40,000 to the organisation and urged his business peers to help lend their support during one of the most testing events in our current history.
Northern Ireland's leading, local cancer charity with the goal to save lives and support local people through cancer awareness, prevention, detection and support.
In 2019 Hagan Homes donated £10,000 to an Action Cancer black tie event in conjunction with the Keith Duffy Foundation. It was the headline sponsor of the gala, which raised money and created awareness of the amazing work of Action Cancer.
The event was the first time that Boyzlife member Keith Duffy (alongside his bandmate Brian McFadden) has supported Action Cancer, helping boost fundraising efforts.
The theme of the event was "The Children's Promise" — a service dedicated to supporting parents and siblings of those suffering with cancer and the children themselves who benefit from trained counselling and complementary therapists every step of their very difficult journey.
The funds raised from the inaugural Ball provided six weeks of free counselling or therapeutic sessions for 145 children and young people impacted by a cancer diagnosis.
Once again Hagan Homes has pledged to support The Christmas Ball taking place in December 2023, providing a further £15,000 for what will be a celebration of Action Cancer's 50th Anniversary. The ball seeks to raise funds and spread awareness of the charity's prevention, detection and support services which are available to families impacted by cancer all across Northern Ireland.
