Get colourful
There’s no better way to give your garden furniture a new lease of life like painting it a bright colour. Maybe a bright orange, hot pink or trendy aqua? This will instantly revive any old tired looking benches or outdoor tables. Just make sure you use a paint formula designed for outside use plus a natural wood finish that will give it a relaxed style.
Show off your green thumb with an herb wall.
Love a BBQ or a summer cocktail? Why not create your very own herb wall next to your BBQ to give those summer steaks that extra juiciness or a fresh mint sprig in your mojito? You can go all out with a garden wall divider or take a more relaxed approach with hanging pots. All you need to do is fill them with your fave herbs and it’ll create some fantastic aromas while looking fantastic.
Let it sparkle
Enjoying time with friends and family in your garden on warm evenings is a summer essential. Solar lights are a very cost-effective way to give your garden a great atmosphere later in evenings. You can pick them up in most garden centres or home stores and are so simple to install… even better they don’t need plugged in!
Get comfy
Outdoor rugs are here to stay! These are a great way to bring the indoors out and make your outside space feel warmer (key when living in N.I). To make it even extra cosy, layer up your chairs with blankets and add cushions to your chairs. They’re ideal for adding a bit of colour and keeping warm when the sun goes down.
Deck it!
Why not take your morning coffee this summer outside? Invest in a deck chair or 2, they’ll brighten up your mornings, we promise. As well as looking very colourful they fold up so if you don’t have a lot of storage space, they’re ideal. If you have a balcony, even better as they look great without taking up a lot of room.
There’s no time like the present to get started, happy glow up!
